The Marriage Celebrant for your
Sunshine Coast Hinterland Wedding
Do you want a marriage celebrant who has:
There's lots of information on my main website: https://ceremoniesinmontville.com.au/
I first became aware of how very special a marriage celebrant's role is when I was helping my Mum, who is one of the earlier appointed Australian celebrants - and, into her late 70s, she still did the occasional ceremony! I saw, not only the joy that Mum received from her work, but the way she touched the lives of the many couples with whom she worked.
It is such a privilege to have people open their hearts to me. I have the ultimate reward in knowing that what I do will continue to touch the lives of many couples in my lifetime and am sure I remain in the hearts of my couples and their families long after the day is over. Together we create ceremony that is uniquely yours.
As I glance around whilst conducting a ceremony I inevitably notice some of the guests reaching out and taking hold of their partner's hand with a smile or a wee gasp in reaction to the words or story I am telling.
Such a fantastic experience! - being married for over 40 years, this was without a doubt the most Professional, Personal, Emotional and Joyous ceremony that Lyn & I have been privileged to be part of! Congratulations Merlin you are the BEST.
Peter & Lyn Bannister..Emerald Beach NSW (Guests at a Coolum Wedding)
What a pleasure to have guests come to me after the ceremony and say the words made them think of their relationship too or how touching the words were, or how very well I captured the couple's personalities and story - they are surprised to learn that I am not a long term friend of the couple!
I receive feedback, from other wedding professionals, saying the ceremony the topic of conversation at the reception. Couples write to me after their first anniversary to say they are remembering their special day and how warm and loving their ceremony was. There are even some who enjoy re-living it so much that they return each year on their anniversary for a 'Celebration of Marriage' ceremony! Couples let me know when their babies are born - and I so often am given the added pleasure of performing their baby welcoming ceremony as well!
These are some of the reasons why I love being a marriage celebrant. Then, of course, I love people and I love story telling. To bring these two loves together into a story that tells of the bride and groom and all that brought them to the marriage altar is pure magic! How blessed I truly am!
What this means for you is that you can be sure that your bespoke ceremony will truly be all about you, not some generic 'mix and match' ceremony that has been heard a thousand times before.
